Mississauga, ON — Carlo Gavazzi announces the arrival of the SPD24901L, one of the industry’s most compact, 90 watt switch-mode power supplies. Its small size sacrifices nothing in functionality, performance or cost. Switch-mode technology means high efficiency, and installation is quick, simple, and highly secure via DIN rail. Two diagnostic LEDs, one for Output “Good”, and another for Output “Low”, provide an instant visual indication of DC output power status. Electronic monitoring and signaling of the output power status can be automatic via a Power Ready Relay contact, yet another standard feature of the SPD24901L.

The SPD242901L also offers these standard features: Short Circuit Protection, Overload Protection and Power Factor Correction functionality. Panel builders will benefit from their compact size and high efficiency. The UL 1310 Class 2 rating affords the user the opportunity to consider cost-saving materials and procedures when designing and bidding competitive panel jobs. Certification for use in hazardous locations, per Class 1 Div 2 groups A, B, C, and D, is currently pending.
