Three Watt LED MR16 bulbs PDF Print E-mail

LEDtronics introduces an addition to its line of drop-in replacement MR16-styled LED bulbs: high-powered Three Watt LED MR16 bulbs. These new 3Watt MR16 LED bulbs have two big advantages over other MR16 LED bulbs. First, they are engineered to handle the variations in voltages that may accompany "noisy" or "dirty" AC or DC power supplies, eliminating potential burnout from incoming voltage that is higher than the lamp's capacity. Second, the new 3 Watt MR16 bulbs eliminate the need to stock a variety of LED MR16 bulbs to coordinate with different voltages that power supplies of 12 Volt AC/DC - 24 Volt DC may present, simplifying procurement and inventory procedures.

Aegis SGR Bearing Protection Ring PDF Print E-mail
The new split-ring version of the AEGIS SGR Bearing Protection Ring comes in halves for easy field installation with little or no disassembly of equipment.  For VFD-controlled AC and DC motors, the SGR Split Ring protects bearings from electrical damage caused by circulating or shaft currents, dramatically extending motor life as well as preventing bearing noise, downtime, and costly motor repairs/replacements. The SGR Split Ring simplifies predictive/preventive maintenance programs for motor repair shops, maintenance contractors, HVAC service contractors, and in-house plant maintenance departments.  Unlike conventional shaft grounding brushes, the ring is maintenance-free and lasts for the life of the motor, regardless of RPM.  Its conductive microfibers work with virtually no friction or wear and are unaffected by dirt, grease, or other contaminants.  The SGR Split Ring is available from stock with mounting hardware in sizes to accommodate motor shafts up to 6” in diameter, and larger rings can be specially ordered.

Power up with QT gensets PDF Print E-mail
Generac Power Systems offers QT series gensets, which help protect against disruptive and costly power (energy) interruptions. The new model line-up includes liquid-cooled offerings with outputs ranging from 20 to 150 kilowatts, all with sound-attenuated enclosures and the Quiet Test feature. The 100 and 150 kW models are compatible with Generac’s Modular Power System, making possible for the creation of higher output systems, says the company. QT gensets are natural gas or LP vapour-fuelled, so there isn’t the fuel-spillage, spoilage or odour concerns that are common with diesel models, says the company. OHVI (overhead valve industrial) engines power Generac’s air-cooled products. They’re matched with new, high-output alternators to produce greater amounts of standby power, says the company. All the 2007 automatic standby products feature Rhino-Coat, which is Generac’s new textured paint finish. This durable, long-lasting protection provides consistent coverage and better bonding to seams and edges to resist corrosion, says the company.
