Ultra-efficient motors PDF Print E-mail
GE Motors, part of GE Consumer & Industrial, introduces its X$D "Extra Severe Duty" Ultra motor, featuring National Electrical Manufacturers Association NEMA Premium efficiency and an industrial strength design that it says helps to lower annual energy costs and extends motor life without sacrificing performance. With its low temperature rise and low vibration, the X$D Ultra® motor is well suited for harsh environments involving highly corrosive materials or where processes place high structural demands on motors, such as in the oil, gas, energy and chemical industries. The new motor is a TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) industrial AC motor ranging from one to 300 horsepower. It meets and/or exceeds NEMA Premium Nominal efficiency standards, which can reduce energy consumption. For information, visit: www.gemotors.com .
